Weren't these available with NASCAR liveries straight from the factory? He added the numbers and sponsors of course, but I'm pretty sure the rest of the design is stock.

After living in Knoxville for seven years, I have personally seen each of these liveries in the 1980s version of the Monte, 1990's version, and the newer ones. It is not an uncommon thing in East Tennessee. At times a very scary place

There were a number of NASCAR themed special editions, but none nearly as detailed as this.

Of course the rest of it is stock. It's the "muscle car" for people who know less than nothing about cars.

I helped my brother repo one of these with the 5.3, and I can tell you that they can do a pretty impressive burnout. On the way back to the lot he turned the traction control off and just floored it from a dig. It left two perfect strips for about a hundred feet.
